The record
Where Carl comes from and how the company works.
- 01Origin
Born in Houston, Texas, in the 3rd Ward. Raised in the 5th Ward and Trinity Gardens, which Carl describes as some of the toughest ground in the city. He says the same experience keeps him driven to speak up for people who would not otherwise have a voice.
- 02Trade
More than 30 years in the security industry. Made Man Protection was established in February 2001 and provides security services, bodyguard services and process serving from Fairfield across Northern California.
- 03Entity
The legal entity is Made Man Enterprises LLC. That is why older reviews, a video cover and some early copy say Made Man Enterprises. It is the same company and the same Carl.
- 04Method
Carl calls the company the “all in one” service. He keeps building affiliates and a personal team so one phone call covers every need, from a single officer at a baby shower to a posted detail at a board meeting. Repeat clients and referrals are the model, and he stays involved from the first call to the last job.

Post: Solano County
Known to the offices that keep the peace.
Through the Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center, Carl built working relationships with the police department, the sheriff’s department and the district attorney. Made Man Protection now holds a community partnership with the Solano County Sheriff’s Department and with the Fairfield Police Department, and Carl completed the Solano County Sheriff’s Office Citizens Academy.
